Faulty Beats Studio 2 Headphones.

i took a pair of eats headphones to Apple Store Kingston today and was greeted with utter ignorance.

FIrstly asked if I had booked a reservation to speak to the Genius Bar Team?

My answer: No as there is no way of booking a reservation for headphones of the booking site.

Apple: Sorry but you will have to make an appointment .

My answer: but it does not allow you to make a reservation?

Appple: Ok I can book you one for next week.

My Answer after losing the will to live, Can I speak to a Manager.

15 mins later at so called Genius Bar: Do you have the Paper Reciept for these.

My Answer: No but I have an email copy?

Apple GB: Sorry we need a paper copy? - (Really a company that specialises in electronics?)

Apple GB: Sorry but Beats do not belong to Apple!

My Answer: Are you sure you work for Apple. Can I see a Manager.

Needless to say after see the Manager at the Genius Bar and listening to him following the company script we finally agreed to let them take the headphones to be sent away for repair,although they are only 2 months old and in mint condition. Because unless purchased from the store direct all products allegedly have to go via repairs although the the international guarantee says there is no difference regardless of where there purchased as they are all Apple Products.

we own a lot of Apple equipment and when they are due to be renewed I will be looking to other makers and not Apple.
