Importing photos from one computer to a new one

My 2008 macbook pro processor died. I have it backed up to a time capsule. How can I transfer my photos back up in the time capsule to the new computer or is there a way I can get the photos off the old computer with the processor being fried? I don't want to bring the whole copy of old macbook to the new one I just simply want my photos?

macbook pro, Mac OS X (10.5.4), Iphone 3G

There is NO importing - you never Import an iphoto library

Is the backup a copy of the iphoto library? If so just g it to the pictures folder of the new computer

Or is it a TimeMachine backup? If so then use TimeMachine to restore it - http://pondini.org/TM/FAQ.html

Also you can have the hard drive removed from the dead computer and put it in an enclosure and use it as an external hard drive for your new computer
