Image Browser found in Trash

Using an iMac with OS X 10.10.2, I tried to use my Image Browser recently and found that it was in the trash! I have no idea what I might have done to make this happen. How can I identify it? I've looked through my Trash and don't recognize it. I'm hoping I can drag and drop to its icon. If it's more complicated, I need advice. Also, any idea what I may have done to make this happen?
