When I would like to upgrade my iPad2 at software update of general at settings, loading logo onscreen for hours with no progress. The goal is to upgrade iOS from 5 to 7.0.1. Any good solution for that?

Not possible. If you upgrade it will be to the most current version which is 8.1.3

It looks like you have the Activator extension installed. This is part of Cydia which means you have a jailbroken device. Sorry, but no help available from this support group.
