I have an ipod nano 6th gen

I have an ipod nano 6th gen & use Windows 8 when I ran the diagnostic test no ipod was found. How can I fix this?

Hi Allen,

I did what was suggested & found that one of the two USB Mass Storage Device items had an ! listed on it, so I reinstalled the Driver but the same ! returned to the same place. Itunes does recognize that the ipod nano is connected & shows all the music on the nano however all songs on the nano are not highlighted in the music in my device listings & it will not sync new music purchases to the nano. Thanks
