my ipod wont turn on

my ipod 5c wont turn on. it is charged more than 50% and i tried to unlock it/ turn it on but it wont light up or anything. my home/ menu button has been broken for a while so i cant restart it. but i have tried holding down the power button and nothing happened. i also have tried charging it and connecting it to my computer. nothing is working.
