Worries about old app have so far kept me from updating to Yosemite. I see I have updates to my Mavericks system:
Will GB 10.0.3 & FCPX 10.1.4 run on Mavericks?
Would I receive updates that weren't applicable to Mavericks?

GarageBand 10.0.3 and Final Cut Pro 10.1.4 work with OS X Mavericks. In both cases, you will still receive updates for these apps always that they are compatible with OS X Mavericks (if not, the Mac App Store will not let you install them).
