lost all itunes music folders...

...I mistakenly deleted them because I believed I had them stored twice. If I know enter itunes all music folders are still there albeit they are marked "tentatively" and with an exclamation mark. This make me believe that I somehow should be able to retrieve them. All advise appreciated.

Then they are deleted...

If I know enter itunes all music folders are still there albeit they are marked "tentatively" and with an exclamation mark.

If they show in iTunes, it is because they are in the iTunes database.

If they have an exclamation mark, it means iTunes cannot find the files.

You will need to restore these deleted files from any backup you (hopefully) have made...
