do apple ID's expire?

Got an email, supposedly from Apple, that my Apple Id expires in 48 hours. However the sentences were written in bad English and the address for Apple was not correct. I believe this is phishing but want Apple to be notified.



Dear Sir / Madam,

We would like to inform you that your Apple ID will expire within 48 hours, so we ask you to perform an audit of your data, you must perform to keep your Apple / iTunes account and accompanying services suspended from this update as soon as possible be.

Click here to update your data

Update now...
This automated email is sent to all your registered with your Apple ID in our system, For more information, please refer to the following topic: Apple Support.
