I keep getting the message that I have 5 devices associated with my account.

When I try to authorize my new computer, I get the message that I already have 5 devices associated with my account. However, under my account settings, it clearly says that I have only 1 device associated with my account. Please help.

Good Morning karenfromsummerville,

The resource below will explain how to deauthorize all of your devices, which will start you with a fresh slate. Then you can reauthorize your new computer.

Before you deauthorize your old computer, follow these instructions to move your music to the new one. I like the "Use an external drive" option the best because it creates a backup of the iTunes library for you.
