How do I get a rental from my iPhone to my Macbook?

I rented a movie on my phone so that I could watch it on my laptop later, but I cannot get the movie to my computer library, I've synced the devices and backed it up and transferred purchases and looked for available downloads, nothing is working, what do I do?
