my imac won't boot up

I have a 2009 27" i5 imac that won't boot up, after press the power buttom, there is no fan, no light, no chims, but a like alarm sound comes and go, anybody can tell what's going on? Thanks!

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)

was it 3 beeps because then you have a BIG RAM problem (95% of time). And if the imac starts booting hold shift (safe mode) It will check the system for errors and try to fix them. OR you could just send it in to apple tech support and have them fix it for you. Also did it start after you updated to yosemite?
