I'm guessing here, that you want to import photos from your device to a computer? If so, you use the import utility from your computer. Depending on what computer OS you use, it could be Import for the latest version of Windows, Scanner and Camera Wizard from XP, or iPhoto or Image Capture for a Mac. See this support document.
