re: Safari hangs up and won't load

Hi,

I'm running 10.7.5 under Parallels (can't upgrade OS with this version of Parallels) and recently Safari stopped loading.

All I get is the spinning circle and have to force quit to get out.

Hoping someone here can help.

**** UPDATE - I followed some of the other posts and after starting in safe mode Safari did load. And then in utilities / log / I was able to see that GLIMS is apparently the problem. MacHangout is down so I can't get the uninstaller. Does anyone have this file they could share?
