I am trying to import a library to aperture 3.6.
I exported it from another library.
I have done this before and it has worked.
It previous versions it asked whether to merge or add. merge never worked so i always added.
Now 3.6 dose not ask.
After the import the images are not in the libray
Can anyone help

Something to try, anyway: repair all the Libraries, then try again.
If you can repair the source and the destination Libraries, and then re-create the Library used to transfer the Images, do so.
I'm not sure, but I don't think Aperture ever allowed merging a Library into a Library that it did not originate from. You can export, work, and then import/merge back into the originating Library, but you cannot — afaik — export and then import/merge into another Library.
Post back — there are surely other things to look into, but Library repair is the first thing to do, IME.
