What does it mean when my laptop freezes and has three loud beeps?

I've been trying to fix my MacBook Pro for awhile now. It started with taking my laptop to the "geniuses" at my local Apple Store. They replaced the logic board. But when I took it home, it made some loud beeps while it was being used. After a lot of drama with the "geniuses", I gave up dealing with them. I shoved the MacBook in my closet and bought myself a windows laptop. Now I have need for the MacBook. After some research, I decided to replace the RAM, since that seems to be the most common problem that causes the three loud beeps. The beeps never happen when you boot up the laptop, but during use. The beeps continue and I'm at a loss for what it could be.

Any suggestions?

Funny enough, I just turned on the laptop to get the info you requested, to find out that it had a kernel panic when I last shut it down. I hope it helps, because I can't make heads or tails of it.

The three beep warning indicates a RAM issue.

You can install the original RAM and see if there is a change.

Run am Apple Hardware Test:

http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201257

Note that an error free AHT is not definitive.

Download from Kelley Computing Rember and run it overnight so the sufficient loops are executed:

http://www.kelleycomputing.net/rember/

Macs have a reputation for being very selective regarding RAM. You may have installed RAM that your MBP does not like. The best sources of Mac compatible RAM are OWC and Crucial.

Ciao.

The three beeps started while using the original RAM. I JUST bought the new RAM, to see if that would fix the problem. I've read that it could also be the logic board if the RAM is fine. So last night I reseated all of the connections to see if that could be it. Then today I did a fresh install of Mavericks. So far I haven't encountered the freeze + beeps, but since it randomly happens, I'm still skeptical.

I'll run that Rember app, too, and see if that turns anything up.

What does it mean when my laptop freezes and has three loud beeps?
