Word for Office 2011 "application not responding"

I have had troubles with Word crashing and the "application not responding," I have uninstalled Office 2011 following these steps...http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2398768 and reinstalled it. Now PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook will open up and respond but Word still wont respond. I've gone into Font Book and made sure they were no duplicate fonts but I'm at the end of the road on what to do. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!
