Stolen I Pad MIni not showing up on Find My Iphone App

When I use the Find My I Phone App, Every single device I own Accept for my I Pad Mini shows up but I cannot find my Ipad Mini I know it was stolen and the I Pad mini was on but the case close so the numeric lock was on so in order for someone to get into the Mini they would have had to know the Numeric Password. Its not showing up anywhere and I would like to find it!!

For the Find My iPhone app to locate a device, the following things have to be working. The device needs to have Find My iPhone activated in iCloud before the device was stolen. The device has to be powered on. The device has to have an active connection to the internet, either Wi-Fi or cellular. The Find My iPhone app you are using has to be logged in with the same iCloud ID as the one on the iPad. If anything there is not as I said, then you will not be able to locate the device. Generally, the biggest issue with the iPad is the fact that it is not always connected to the internet.
