I just purchased a Airport Time Capsule, can I back up dtata/music/pic from my PC?

Yes you can, if your Windows application supports backing up to a network drive. A few that I have used in the past that do are.......
Macrium Reflect (not the free version)
Genie Timeline Professional - Genie9 (not the free version)
Things would be simpler though, if you added another drive and connected it directly to your PC for backups.
