How do I delete Twitter drop-down menu suggestions?

When I go to log into twitter (on chrome, on a mac) there are suggestions that come up in a drop down menu, but how do I get rid of them?

I tried shift+delete but it doesn't work. Neither does double clicking.

Help.

(P.S. I did it by accidentally putting my password in the wrong box thanks to the page refreshing)

clear out all the cookies, preferences both from within Chrome, and in your ~/Library - Preferences, Cache etc

fwiw I use CCleaner to nuke all the web browsers except the cookies I need.

Use 2-step verification for Twitter so a code is needed that is sent to your phone

Sounds like this happened though when you created a Twitter account and not just login?
