have stopped receiving mail from one person only in mail app

For some reason I have stopped receiving mail from one email address of one person in mail app on my Macbook pro and iPhone. I have even created a rule to send email from that address to inbox. I have tried everything that may be stopping delivery that I know about. I am no expert though. Anyone out there that has any idea.

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)

The e-mail provider may be blocking it as spam for some reason. You might try contacting them.
