Is there a wrist bluetooth thing you connect to your phone that tells you when you get a text or VM?

My husband is a contractor and works outside. He wants to be able to check for texts and voice mails by looking at a "watch" on his wrist rather than digging for his phone and removing his gloves, etc. Does Apple make such a thing?

There may be a ruggedized model at

some point, or something offered by

another company that would integrate.

As with all devices that are wireless, the length

of battery life will be a determining factor in the

field, as they would require a recharge.

This may be among the better products due

to superior Apple integration & design. 🙂

From the Watch Apple links above...

This should be able to do what you ask.

So to say you'd have to wait for a different product from Apple

you should be able to see what it does by date at Apple store.

Hopefully you can find information about other current items

and compare; the Watch looks like another good product

as it also would work with your other recent Apple devices.

See the site link to 'techradar .com' above for other ideas that

are available. By the second week in March there should be

a bit more info, there is a link in the Apple site for Watch...

A list of smart watches, including Apple Watch (due early '15)

appears here: http://smartwatches.specout.com/

Good luck! 🙂
