Calls to both phones

Question

Calls to both phones

My husband and I share and iTunes account. Yesterday he upgraded his phone and now whenever anyone ring him it also rings my phone and vice versa - any ideas how we can stop this?

iPhone 5c, iOS 8.1.3

I guess you are sharing an Apple account. On both devices go to Settings>Facetime and turn OFF "iPhone mobile calls". An explanation is under the button.

it's really best not to share account you can accomplish the same things by using family sharing

using the same appleID mean apart from your issue that you also need to disable iMessage to not get all the same sms's and that you cant iMessage each other or facetime each other
