iTunes purchase showing in recently added but not library or purchased playlist.

I've had two purchases which show under recently added but not in my library, purchased playlist, the cloud nor my media files. Would anyone have any suggestions? I have Windows 8. I've tried to locate the file using windows search feature and cannot do so. This had not been an issue until my attempted purchase the other night. I have not changed any settings within iTunes prior to this purchase. Thank you for your time.
