I am new to iMac and was wondering is my keychain suppose to be locked or unlocked? And if it is suppose to be locked will I need a password all the time to get into everything? And also is the password the same one we log into the computer with.
1 More thing how do I add website to keychain so I do not have to put passwords in all the time?

yes keychain remember your passwords and can auto insert it when you go to a website it has the login and password for
how do you do that? When I go to MY T-Mobile it does not ask me to save my password. Any help would be great
If you go into your iCloud settings on your mac you should be able to turn keychain on from there, make sure it is on on your other devices too. Then when you visit the website it should automatically fill it in or suggest to fill it in for you when you begin to type.

Go into launchpad (the one with the rocket on) then into system preferences (the cogs) and then the third row down (and first icon) is iCloud. In there keychain is a little down the list.
ok found it its already checked off but the passwords still do not save in safari for example t--mobile.com does not say do you want to save password yes or not know or never I do not get this message at all. And this happens to a lot of programs cannot figure it out. Any other suggestions. Thank you
