revealing event contents

If an event is scheduled with an alert to open a file, how do you reveal what was entered into the alert: Open file section. If I open an event where I chose Custom in the alert section and entered a specific file, I can't see the custom parameters that I entered but rather a drop down that has nothing to do with what I entered.
