Time Capsule - I need to retrieve data

I had to erase my hard drive to reinstall Yosemite. I have a Time Capsule and used Time Machine to back up my computer. when I reinstalled, I thought I downloaded the time machine back up, but not all the data from my computer was downloaded. Now I want to have access to the Time Capsule data on my computer so I can down load my photos. I have many computers backing up to the Time Capsule. How do I get access to the old back up and not the new one?

Alo, the iMac is set up on Time Machine backing up to the Time Capsule, but does not show any backups. I want to have access to the old backups for this computer.

Go into Finder, and open the Preferences pane. (CMD-comma). Ensure that "connected servers" and "external disks" are being shown. Find the time capsule. Click "Connect as..." and enter the device password. Enter into the folder, then backups.db, then find your computer there. All files are stored there.
