How do I remove a secondary Apple ID that is not in use from my MacBook pro? The ID does not belong to me and when I attempt to download updates from App Store with my Apple ID, I am prompted for the password of the secondary Apple ID.

Is this a second hand Mac? If so, you need to erase the Mac and install the version of OS X that shipped installed on the Mac from the factory. Then you set the Mac up as new with your Apple ID.

Thank you very much for your help. It is not a second hand Mac. Another person used the MacBook to charge their IPhone; Seems their IPhone and Apple ID was synced in the process. I am unable to contact the other user; I will follow the instructions in your message and in the Tutorial. Once again Thank you vey much! Iliana
Before you go to all that trouble, I would first delete the apps in question and redownload them with your own Apple ID. It would appear that the person did more than charge their iPhone. The Apple ID that bought an app is encoded into the licensed copy of an app downloaded to your Mac.
