how to activate seccond hand ipad.

I bought a old ipad 2 a1396 from my friend. He is forgot apple id and e-mail password. When upgrade ios 8.1.3 ipad wont activate. He can't activate it and sell to me very cheap. How can activate this ipad with my apple id?

You can't. Either your friend needs to retrieve his Apple ID at https://iforgot.apple.com/appleid and then clear off the iPad What to do before selling or giving away your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support or return it and get your money back.
