Hey,
I'm trying to install my iso file onto the USB and the Boot Camp hangs on downloading the windows supporting files. I have tried waiting, and after around an hour it comes up with an error.
I have download them manually but there's no way to un-tick the downloading option in Boot Camp.
I'm using the latest mid 2014 macbook pro with Yosemite.
How can I fix this problem?

Please try again. A wired connection to the Internet is recommended. This is a known issue with Apple CDN which delivers the BC Software.
I have tried many times and still no luck.
Is there any other way I can make my bootable USB with Win?
Can you run the following grep command in OSX Terminal?
grep -e 127 -e apple.com /private/etc/hosts
127.0.0.1 localhost
grep -e 127 -e apple.com /etc/hosts
127.0.0.1 localhost
thats what I get when using the command in terminal.
I'm not too sure if it works as I'm quite new in mac world
Can you connect using a wired connection, run BCA and check only the 'Download software box...'. If that works, without exiting BCA, go back and click on all three (or two boxes as the case may be), and try it again.
Please also run the following commands.
grep -e apple.com /private/etc/hosts
grep -e apple.com /etc/hosts
Nothing seems to happen when I run this command.
I don't have access right now to wired connection. But I have good wi fi so it should be a problem.
I'm still trying to download the supporting files only, maybe I will have luck
If there was any output it could indicate an issue. This looks clean.
