Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Someone sent me a wav.file.....when I try to play it through quicktime I get an error code that sends me to telestream...they want to charge me to download it...is this the only way to play a file?

QT is installed as part of OS X. Flip4Mac is free. No, there are other ways.
Thanks for the quick response...I did download flip4mac, selected the file I wanted to review and got the following pop up window "This file can not be opened without the Flip4Mac Windows Media Components for QuickTime." so I try to install it again which takes me to tele stream who wants $4.95....I wish I knew what I was doing wrong.
I tend to use VLC See VideoLAN - VLC - Features
Then download and use VLC Media Player 2.2.0.
