I just bought an iPhone 6 and I am having trouble getting the mail to work correctly or at all. When I was able to get it to work, it would download hundreds of old emails that i thought were deleted and i can't stop it from downloading. after rebooting the phone by i can't get the mail to connect at all. Can anyone help? Thank you
Use your computer to clear the deleted mails from your providers mail server by clearing the trash folder.
Then activate the mail account on your phone again in Settings/Mail or remove it and set it up again.
