My iphone 6 doesn't synchronize with itunes

Hello,

I have an Iphone 6, and just updated my Itunes to 12.1.1.4,

but now i have this problem where, when i plug in my iphone to my laptop that my laptop recognizes my Iphone but my itunes doesn't open and synchronize.

And the iphone icon on the left doesn't appear either.. Has anyone else has this problem/ solution ?
