If it is indeed installed, then I would suggest that you do a complete erase and install - otherwise you would never know exactly what was installed or removed or still there as they appear to have different apps within the app (including a keylogger).

In order to give precise instructions, which OS are you on and which OS version was installed originally?

And what year/model iMac?

And: don't forget to change all your passwords everywhere (probably better after you do the reinstall).

I believe yours is too old for internet recovery, so you would need your original install disks or a retail Snow leopard disk to boot from, erase your hard drive, and then reinstall.
