my son locked my iPad by entering passcode wrong now i can't restore it help!!

trying to restore my iPad air 2 after it was disabled from entering the wrong passcode too many times it started to restore then fails leaving the iPad stuck with the apple logo and loading bar underneath

If you're unable to do the Restore (or it doesn't help), go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. You WILL lose all of your data (game scores, etc,) but, for the most part, you can redownload apps and music without being charged again. Also, read this.
