I inherited an iPad from a deceased relative and don't have her apple ID or password. How do I activate it in my name?
Without your relative's ID and password, you will be unable to use the device. You will have to go to the Apple store with proof that the original owner is deceased--death certificate. You will have to prove that you are a legal heir and provide any other information they may require before they will reset the device so you can use it. Check with the store to find out what information they will require.
