How do I close Siri?
A few times somehow I started the Siri program unintentionally.
No matter what I did I could not close the program or exit. I had to turn off the iPad. How do I exit Siri?
iPad Air 2 Wi-Fi, iOS 8.1.3

Just press the Home button.
Just press the Home button.
Thank you for you post on "quick" click on home button to close Siri. I have been struggling with this for many years! Quick click worked, guess my click had always been too slow. I'm very happy thanks again

That was the first thing I tried.
Did not work.
It works for me. Don't press and hold the Home button just a quick click.
I Have had same problem. It doesnt work. Siri doesnt close. Ipad ends in black/orange screen and takes 3 clicks x 2 to get back to normal.

As Jim Hdk suggested, it needs to be a quick click. Not hold.

Why couldn't Siri tell me this😕 I did ask.
"Siri, go away" always works for me.
