Using old Macbook Pro Adapter with new Retina

I have a 2008 Macbook Pro (15") that I've got about 2 additional power adapters for situated at various locations. I JUST bought a brand new 15" Retina Macbook Pro and would like to reuse the power adapters on it.

Is this possible?

Physically the magsafe plug won't fit but isn't there an adapter out there?

What's the wattage restrictions on this?
