I have 674 photos-itunes, but 0 photos on my phone- HELP!

The worst thing is that when I plug my iphone into the computer, my iphone doesn't even show up. It only connects to itunes and I've read that people syn their photos onto a file or icloud and delete it. It's not working, I've been trying on and off for months. My photos take up more space than anything else, what do I do!?

I must be really bad at technology because even trying to post this I'm getting an alert saying "You are not allowed to create or update this content." Really, what the fudge apple, I can't get my iphone phantom space removed, and I can't even post a question. I'm trying to type more to see if it helps. Oh god, I even have to change the community. Soo infuriated right now.
