My phone app freezes and when i press on contact either it freezes or does nothing. Anyone know how to fix this problem? Also messaging app crashes. ANOTHER NEW PROBLEM: I can't receive calls either.

Try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose any data by resetting, but it can cure some glitches.

I tried to reset my phone multiple times. Also i restored my phone and restored from backup and still the same. Like now i can receive calls. but I can't really make them until a while later when my phone actually wants to be responsive.
To make sure that this is not software related, set it back to factory settings, without using any backup afterwards. Set up the details manually and see if you can place a call.
