none of my numbers files will open since the upgrade to 2.3
The operating system recommended an update to 2.3 recently and now none of my numbers files will open, any ideas?

Hard to guess without a hint at what the error message is. did you previously have Numbers '08? If so you will have to get Numbers '09 from Amazon (or use the Free 30 trial which Google can help you locate). Then install numbers '09, RUN ALL THE UPDATES.
Then open the files with Numbers '09 and save as Numbers '09
Now Numbers 3.x (that latest version you just installed) can open them
