Q: In iBooks, the top of my cover is cut off

I created an ePub from my Pages doc and imported the cover into the first page of the Pages doc. When I look at the book in iBooks the top of the cover is cut off. Does anyone know how to fix this? Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks.
