Can't hide app purchases in iTunes store

I can confirm I also have the same issue, started happening two weeks ago, tried signing in and out of iTunes cannot hide the apps, only have the cloud icon to download the apps, even thou the app(s) in question are gone from my iPhone.

Would good to find out what has changed...

Indeed this has worked, wonder if this is a bug or intentional, well either way thanks for following up with resolution, it has helped me and it will help others I am sure.

Same issue on 10.10.3 (14D105g). The mouse target is there, but there is no image - clicking it works as expected.

The bug is that the icon has a radius corner, and you have to mouse just above the left radius to change to the hand. I would say a bug, they need to move the focus in slightly.

it works as the above says, thanks to all for the tip. I needed this. I cant wait till you can delete it for good. Some apps are no longer updating.

thank you for figuring this out... huge help... and the issue is still present in 12.2.1 or whatever newest update was as of July15th

Can confirm - this method also works on iTunes 12.x on Windows. It's annoying but it works nonetheless.
