I just want to ask if this is normal? The picture is an iPhone 4s, and when we visited an Accredited Apple Service center they said that the handset was opened but the phone was received a few weeks only.
My question is, is this normal for new iphones? because the technician claims that it shouldn't be there.

Was this a cellular carrier, or an Apple Store, or Authorized Apple iPhone reseller? Check with the place where you purchased it. Again, you cannot get a new iPhone 4s at this time, it is no longer manufactured.

If an Apple Authorized Service Provider has told you that the device has been opened, then it was opened.
