Unable to play video in Safari Browser on iOS devices
Hi Team,
Recently I am unable to play mp4 videos in Safari browser on iOS devices. The video player goes black and stuck. Please note that same videos were playable before. Below are few details that might be helpful to you in troubleshooting:
- The devices used – iPad and iPhone 5
- iOS version present on the device –iOS 8.x.x
- Safari version being used - default browser which comes with device
- I am able to play downloaded videos(mp4 and mov) in the device.
I suspect that HTML5 player is being used for playing videos in Safari. Kindly confirm is there any issue with Safari browser in latest iOS release.
Please do let me know in case any details are required from my end.
