Maths Equations — LatexIT

Hello All,

Came across a new Maths Editor issue the other day.

While using the insert equation editor within iBA I used a command description which is used within LatexIT editor for writing fractions.

Command instruction: \tfrac{3}{4}

Unlike the usual \frac{3}{4} this additional \tfrac command brings the fractions sitting above each other much closer so it looks better overall.

For some reason this command is not recognised by the Equation Editor within iBA, yet I thought that iBA understood and recognised LatexIT.

Has anyone else come across this or would even have a solution for it.

Hello Tom,

Thanks for the link…

I see that the \tfrac command is not up there — so is unfortunately not supported by iBA.

Thats a shame for it means the visual difference of the following.

The \tfrac command is definitely much better looking and would allow for a stronger and more fluid reading of the maths equations within the work.

If anyone has come across this and has a resolution to it please let me know…

Thanks again Tom,

Nigel
