To determine how mach RAM you have on your iMac use the Apple menu.
Apple > About this Mac
The screen that comes up will tell you the processor and memory (RAM).
To easily determine the available space on your Hard disk select the disk in the Finder and then Select Get Info from the Finder Menu. You will be shown a screen that tells the hard disk size and the available space.
