This can't be true at 96Khz ?

I have been using LP for quite a while now I specialise on soundtrack for movies . I recently started to work my new sessions at 96 Khz and as I was adding the string recordings I realised that LPX stopes the audio track count at 31 audio tracks ? Can someone tell me this a'int for real 😟 I was so disappointed I had to downgrade the sessions audio settings to 48 Khz . Is this it for LPX at 96 Khz 32 tracks ?

According to the Logic tech spec page:

  • Up to 255 audio channel strips
  • Up to 255 software instrument channel strips
  • Up to 255 auxiliary channel strips
  • Up to 64 busses

This will depend on what sort of tracks, content and plugs you're using on the tracks but the number allowed by the Logic app is as above. What happens when you try to create a 33rd (and onwards) track?

Thanks for the quick reply octopi .

Well I try to add lets say more audio tracks it just adds an alies of the last track meaning it just adds track number 31 again 😟 very disappointed . I know that DAW's like Protools go half on the track as the sample rate goes up but I didn't even imagine it was the same in LPX ? Does anybody have any experience on 192khz for example ? And what would the track count be?
