Print large PDF in Preview over several pages?

I'm trying to print a PDF that's about 4-5 "normal" pages in size. Preview wants to "Scale to fit" it to 25% to fit on one page, but that's too small to read. So then I click the "Scale" button and set it to 100%. But it still only wants to print one page, but this time with just a fraction of the image on it.

So how do I print it 100% and have it print as many pages as it needs, and then I can glue them together to get my large print?

I don't believe Preview has a tiling option. So instead, use Adobe's free Acrobat Reader.

Open the document and choose to print the page. In the dialogue that comes up, click on the Poster button.

Here, I've scaled the page to 500%. The dotted lines shows how the tiles will be printed. The "Cut marks" check box helps you by putting trim marks in the corners of each sheet so you know where to trim them before taping the tiles together.

I know it has been a long time since you posted this, but I'm running into the same problem. But, when I try this on AR, and scale it up, the box to choose what pages you want to print,,, ex 3-7 is grayed out, and it prints ALL the pages, and the blank ones of course have the cut marks, wasting a lot of paper. Have you any suggestions?
