How do I convert a scanned document to a document I can edit?
Just trying to convert a scanned document to a document that I can edit.

You need OCR (optical character recognition) software. There are a number of OCR programs at the App Store - one PDF OCR X Community Edition has a poor rating but is actually pretty good as long as the document is simple - doesn't have lots of graphics and is in a single column.
